This figure of the seated Buddha, with a flame-shaped mandorla topped with a jewel, shows Tang dynasty style and iconography. It exhibits the long, thin head and limbs and narrow waist. The gilding is significantly worn in many places, revealing the brown bronze core beneath. The sculpture has a basically static, frontal composition.
