Description "Virgin with Sts. Anthony Abbot and George," demonstrates the distinctive style of Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo's reproductive prints. The print shows greater linear density and a relatively discrete use of a wide range of marks to create effects.For example, the robe of the kneeling saint is a broad swatch of white with shadow articulated by curving lines fading to dots, while the column behind has all small lines at random angles reproducing marble. In neither form is the same means used.
