Description Nazca ceramic vessel in the shape of a human head with modelled nose, painted eyes, mouth, moustache, hair, and eyebrows. Decorations in red under eyes and multicolor stripes on upper part of vessel. Trophy head jars like this were used in ceremonially and in burial sites to serve as a substitute for a decapitated head.
