Humbert Arcamonte was a stree artist with an annual exhibit on what was known as MacDougal Alley. He exhibited his work through an art dealer whose gallery was in midtown Manhattan. Most of his works were scenes from New York, Naples, Clipper ships, horses and fox hunts, but there was also nudes and portraits. He also worked on a very large mural for the WPA. |
