This exhibition catalog entitled "Multiples: the first decade" by John L. Tancock was published in conjunction with an exhibition at the Philadelphia Museum of Art, March 5 - April 4, 1971. It includes a preface by Evan H. Turner, director, and a foreword by the author. The catalogue consists of heavy, brightly colored cardboard pages (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet), and a closed bolt binding with snaps affixed to the covers so that they book can be positioned to stand as a column of fanned-out pages. The catalog is supplied with 65 illustrations in b/w (works by Victory Vasarely, Bruno Munari, Francisco Sobrino, Roy Lichtenstein, Lucio Fontana, Mario Ceroli, Max Ernst, Dennis Oppenheim, Enrico Baj, Miguel Berrocal, Joseph Beuys, Bill Culbert, Enrico Castellani, Angel Duarte, H. R. Demarco, Julio Le Parc, Remo Saraceni, Ernest Trova, Jesus Raphael Soto, Klaus Staudt, and others) The text on the last recto page states: This catalogue was conceived and designed by Eugene Feldman, and printed and crash-bound at the Falcon Press, Philadeliphia. The essay was photocomposed in Alphatype Versatile by John C. Meyer & Son, Inc., Philadelphia. The catalogue was typed in IBM MT/ST Univers by the Falcon Press. Colored papers are Carrara and Sonata by Hopper Paper Division of Georgia Pacific. White sheets are Kromekote by Champion papers. Snaps were affixed by French Button Works, Inc., Philadelphia.
